Ingredients:
1 1/4C Granulated Sugar
1 C Salted butter
3 Large Egg Yolks
1 t Pure Vanilla Extract
2 1/2 C All-Purpose Flour
1 t Baking Soda
1/2 t Cream of Tartar
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks and vanilla.
- Add remaining dry ingredients. Blend well.
- Refrigerate dough, for about 10 mins so it is easy to handle
- Use a "00" scoop which is 1T. Drop them on to cookie sheets about 2" apart. They should not spread much at all.
- Bake for about 10 minutes, or until their edges just barely begin to color.
High altitide: Increase oven temperature to 365.
