Best Drop Sugar Cookies

These are the best cookies if you need to make a bunch for hungry little kids or to take to a neighbor.

Ingredients:
1 1/4C Granulated Sugar
1 C Salted butter
3 Large Egg Yolks
1 t Pure Vanilla Extract
2 1/2 C All-Purpose Flour
1 t Baking Soda
1/2 t Cream of Tartar

Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks and vanilla.
  3. Add remaining dry ingredients. Blend well.
  4. Refrigerate dough, for about 10 mins so it is easy to handle
  5. Use a "00" scoop which is 1T. Drop them on to cookie sheets about 2" apart. They should not spread much at all.
  6. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until their edges just barely begin to color.

High altitide: Increase oven temperature to 365.
